On Saturday mornings at 8am at the church we are engaged in the privileged work of carrying out God’s purposes in prayer together. After 5 minutes focussing our minds through reading Scripture we give ourselves to an hour of prayer divided into various specific areas. It is a time when we can uphold all the activities of the church as well as address pastoral needs and find that even as we pray God prepares to use us in the answer to our prayers.
This is not only a time of precious fellowship at the throne of God’s grace, but also a time of special communion with our heavenly Father when we as His children come together before Him to plead for ourselves, our church, the wider church of Christ, our nation and our world. It is our desire that all our petitions are suffused with thanksgiving and praise and that our praying together should stimulate our private prayer.
